Maria was born and raised in Milford, Delaware and graduated from Milford High School in 2006. Shortly after graduation, she and her husband were married.  Maria began her career at PNC Bank, where she worked from 2006 through 2013, gaining valuable experience in client relations, problem-solving and financial services.  In 2013 she made the decision to become a full-time stay-at-home mother, focusing on raising her four children, now 16, 13, 10 and 8.  With her children now in school full-time, Maria is excited to re-enter the workforce and continue growing professionally.  

Maria joined Sergovic Carmean McCartney & Owens, P.A. in September 2025. Maria brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail and renewed passion for contributing to a team environment.  In her free time, Maria loves spending time with her family, attending church and traveling.
